According to a recent report by Harvard Health Publications’ Harvard Heart Letter, supplements are the simplest, safest way to get vitamin D.

The report also reinforces what we’ve been saying for some time on this blog–that millions of Americans do not have enough vitamin D in their bodies, and the current RDA may not be enough for a lot of people. Also, vitamin D is not just good for bones, but for overall health as well.
